Das Institut im Glaspavillon freut sich, am 12. Juli 2008 BadFrench zu ihrem ersten Auftritt, einem Vortrag und einer Videopräsentation begrüßen zu dürfen.
BadFrench ist das neue Musikprojekt von Kiki Moorse, ehemaliges Mitglied von
Chicks on Speed, und Andreas Reihse, Mitglied der Düsseldorfer Band Kreidler.
Die Musik des Duos ist elektronisch, lehnt sich am französischen Chanson
an, Kiki erfindet sich als D.I.Y.-Diseuse. Die Arbeit von BadFrench ist gekennzeichnet
durch ein Bekenntnis zum Stil, aber auch durch einen gewissen melancholischen
Zug. Die erste Single des Duos, »My Parisian Friend«, mit Remixen
von Jason Forrest und Toffeetronic, erscheint im September 2008.
Im Institut werden Kiki und
Andreas das Projekt vorstellen, ihr Konzept erläutern, ein kleines Konzert
geben und ihr erstes Video (Regie: Elsa Okazaki) präsentieren.

The Institut im Glaspavillon
is glad to welcome BadFrench on Saturday, July 12, for their premier performance,
a lecture and a video presentation.
BadFrench is a new music project
by Kiki Moorse, former member of Chicks on Speed, and Andreas Reihse, member
of the Düsseldorf band Kreidler. The duo's music is electronic, inspired
by French chanson, Kiki invents herself as a D.I.Y.-diseuse. The work of BadFrench
is characterized by a commitment to style, but also by a certain melancholy.
The duo's first single, "My Parisian Friend", will appear in September
2008, including remixes by Jason Forrest and Toffeetronic.
At the Institut Kiki and Andreas
will introduce the project, talk about their concept and give a small concert.
They will also introduce their first video (directed by Elsa Okazaki).
